Starting on July 1, 2026, anime enthusiasts and tourists traveling from Kyoto to the popular “NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” attraction on Awaji Island will have a more seamless travel option with the introduction of a direct bus ticket package. This package, aimed at enhancing the travel experience, combines a round-trip highway bus service from Kyoto Station to Awaji I.C. with admission to the anime-themed park, offering a hassle-free day-trip opportunity without the inconvenience of transfers.

The highway bus journey spans approximately 90 minutes, treating travelers to picturesque views of bridges and the sea en route to the anime attraction. Upon arrival, visitors gain access to two key features of the park: the “Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki)” three-dimensional maze and the “Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki)” mission rally. These immersive attractions bring to life the world of the beloved ninja anime, allowing guests to explore settings inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village and engage in various interactive experiences.

Available exclusively for weekday travel, the bus package excludes major holiday periods, ensuring a more relaxed visit. Priced at 8,200 yen for adults and 4,250 yen for children, including taxes, the tickets can be purchased online. After buying, travelers must exchange their tickets at the Kyoto Bus Ticket Center. This new offering underscores the commitment to making the unique cultural experience at Nijigen no Mori more accessible to both domestic and international visitors.

Situated on Awaji Island, Nijigen no Mori is renowned for its attractions based on popular Japanese entertainment franchises, blending anime culture with outdoor adventure in a natural setting. The introduction of the direct bus service from Kyoto is expected to further attract anime fans and tourists eager for a unique summer travel experience in Japan, providing them with a convenient gateway to explore the anime park’s engaging features.
